At Fifth Harvest, our journey began with a simple yet powerful belief—there is a better way to feed the future. We were founded with the mission to address the pressing challenges of nature loss, climate change, and global food insecurity. From the beginning, we saw an opportunity to make a real difference by transforming how food is grown, harvested, and delivered.
Fifth Harvest was born out of the desire to create a sustainable and scalable solution to some of the world's biggest challenges. The intersection of food systems and environmental responsibility is where we saw the greatest potential for impact. From there, our focus turned to vertical farming—a method that allows us to grow fresh, nutritious produce using fewer resources and reducing our environmental footprint.

Today, we have established vertical farms in Melbourne, creating a new standard for urban agriculture. Our farms are designed to reduce food miles, ensuring that the produce we grow stays close to home. By working with some of Melbourne’s finest restaurants, we have been able to supply fresh, locally grown ingredients that meet the high standards of the city’s top chefs.
Our year-round production ensures a constant supply of fresh greens, while our focus on sustainability means that we’re contributing to a healthier planet.
